From The Women's Institute for Solidarity and Empowerment:
The Women's Institute for Solidarity and Empowerment is a research institution that partners with grassroots women’s organizations and working women to develop publications and media that broadens and popularizes their struggle for dignified livelihood and social change.
Join us in catalyzing all of the important work to come at our launch, Sowing the Seeds of Change, where we will highlight our commitment to partnering with communities on the ground and promoting their calls for change. This celebration will formally introduce the active board and fundraise for the general operations cost and research projects of WISE. We will promote our unique mission and vision, honor those who have supported us along the way, and invite new groups and individuals to support our work. We will have light food and refreshments, cultural performances and speakers throughout the evening.
